## About the piece

Written by James Lord Pierpont and published in 1857 as “One Horse Open Sleigh”. This is the chorus everyone knows. Most of it repeats the note E, so watch the rhythm rather than your fingers.

## Practice tips

- Learn one line at a time. Repeat it until it feels easy, then add the next.
- Keep your hand still over the keys and let your fingers do the moving.
- Once you know the notes, press **Listen** again and play along with the rhythm.
- Hold **Space** for the sustain pedal to make the melody sing — release it between phrases so the notes don't blur.
